Complaint Review: University Suites Portwarwick

This company uses cheap door locks that are easily popped open with a credit card. Nothing Secure about the individual rooms/leases.

The leasing staff is lazy/unreachable/ and unresponsive when you call them regarding important matters.

The leasing staff has biased/prejudiced behaviors based on good looks/money (they lack both.)

The property manager is lazy and usually "on-break" rather than "on duty"

I experienced THEFT/ROBBERIES/BURGLARIES while residing here (all reported with the local police department)

The Roommates conspired to have me "removed" from the property after realizing I was not interested in partying while studying/working. (partying included a lot of hard drugs and underage boozing....)

The apartments are not always cleaned properly prior to new move-ins

The sub-leasing is done as a favor to like tenants rather than as a fair business practice, available to people who realize Usuites is not the "scene" for them/their children

The party atmosphere is OK as long as you are 'friends' with the staff, otherwise expect a notice to vacate


The staff CAN and  WILL conspire to evict tenants on bogus /completely false allegations (never returning move in fees or properly addressing allegations)

The property is less safe than advertised. From Racist staff, Prejudiced Policy use, underage drinking, drug dealing, and insecure buildings

Beth Pinder falsely evicted me claiming I had people living in my apartment for more than two weeks. During a time when I wasn't even in town for two weeks at a time....She never once attempted to prove this...just notified me to leave.

Pinder also claimed I was hosting parties, while I was out of town, and used that as another false point for eviction.

Some tenants are very Racist/Sexist making the environment Hostile for no real reason...

Overall A Very  Ghetto Neighborhood, Yet Advertised Great....
