unlimited-autos Continued advertising vehicle that was approved for purchase. Also use Carfax logo and they are not authorized dealer. Internet
I came across this website Unlimited-Autos.com selling repossed vehicles at very low prices. I emailed for information and did not get a response. I called the number they provide and there was never any answers. It all seemed too fishy. So I decided to go thru the whole purchase procedure just to find out how they actually work. I was "approved" to purchase this certain car. When it was time to pay, they instruct you to go make payment at a MoneyGram office to a Chris Norton (not the company). They do not take credit cards. By this time I was convinced that this was a scam. So I emailed them from a different email and asked about this same car. They immediatley emailed back that this car was available and to go to the site to purchase immediately. Note that before when I emailed them about how they worked, they did not respond. They only seem to respond when they think you are going to purchase a car from them. So I emailed them my concern and that my "friend" had already been approved to purchase this vehicle so why where they still advertising it. Their response was this: Your friend didn't paid yet and we don't think she will. For this reason the car is still for sale, we don't have time to lose. I dont know how they assume someone is not going to pay.
They also have the Carfax logo claiming to be authorized dealers. I contacted Carfax and this was their response: CARFAX does not certify vehicles nor any dealership selling them. Autos Unlimited has not been approved to use our company name for any purpose and has been reported to be a fraudulent sales site.
I am so glad I did not send them any money.
