On April 21, 2007, a young lady name Janell Little rang my doorbell and said she was selling magazine subscriptions to earn points toward a $10,000 post-secondary education award. I told her I did not need any more magazines, but she was very talkative and my granddaughter, who was visiting, found a couple of magazines she wanted, so I did order.

I ordered Scrapbooks, etc. and Nickelodeon. WOW, imagine my surpise when each subscription was $48 and the "process/handling" fee was $12.50, for a total of $104.50. When I objected to these exorbitant rates, Janell told me that if I kept my two receipts, I would receive something later that if I sent it back with a receipt, I would get 50% of my purchase price back. I thought this sounded rather fishy, but instead of reading the agreement, I signed it will Janell rattled on and wrote her a check for $104.50. After she left, I read the agreement and it says, "No verbal agreements recognized" which translates, I think, to "no, you won't get a 50% refund". I still have my two copies of the receipt.

Well, it is now 2/25/08 and I have yet to receive a single copy of either magazine. My granddaughter keeps asking me when they're going to come. I guess now I'll have to tell her, "Your Grandma is a fool. We got ripped off."

I tried finding the company on a website and did find something, but there was no way to contact them via the website. Today, I wrote a letter to their address, but have a hunch I won't hear back from them. I also plan on reporting them to the Attorney General of Nebraska and filing a complaint.

By what I found on the Ripoff Report, I BELIEVE that this company may be the same as Unlimited Services. It certainly sounds the same. One writer said she had turned them and the owner in to the Arizona Better Business Bureau, so I plan to contact them, as well, just to see what they can tell me.

If you know how to reach this company or have more information, please file your own Ripoff Report. If you think the company is legitimate, I'd also like to hear from you.

First and foremost we, Unlimited Sales Inc, out of Las Vegas, Nevada are not affiliated with any other company with the name of Unlimited Services.

In regards to Ms. Joan's orders of Nickelodeon and Scrapbooks Etc., we have only been contacted 1 time by Ms. Joan, which was by mail that was delivered February 29. We did not know that she was not receiving her magazines till we received her letter of complaint. At that time we attempted to contact her by phone on the 29th and on the 3rd with no luck. After receiving no return calls from Ms. Joan we issued a FULL refund in the amount of $104.50 on March 4th and mailed it to her address in Omaha Nebraska. We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience that we have caused to Ms. Joan and her granddaughter.

We hope in the future that customers will contact our office by phone (number on the back of the receipts) with any questions or concerns.
