I tried to get a moto milestone unlocked from www.unlocking.com. I paid via paypal, which itself had to poll my bank account for the funds ($10 ish), taking 6 business days. In this time I asked them if they were 'able' to generate the code successfully, in order to get some reassurance that when the paypal payment processed I would get the code. They said they could not do this, and whatever, I waited.

After the payment processed the code did not come. When I contacted them they said they were having trouble generating the code, I waited a couple days and then demanded a refund. They said I had to give them a certain period before I would be eligible for a refund. During this period (around 5 days) I got the unlock code I needed from another website (www.mobileincanada.com) and am now using my unlocked phone. I told them this and that I simply wanted the refund. After the 5 days were up they said they had to ''review my case for refund'' for a period of 7 days. That time has now past and my ''case'' has currently been elevated to a supervisor.

At this point, even if I get the money back, it required to much effort to do so. I've only hounded them so far for 10 bucks because I hate shifty outfits like that so much. They bank on the people that don't hound them.
