UPS Ripoff THEY DID NOT WANT TO PAY THE INSURANCE FOR ANY REASON WALNUT CREEK California

I sent two packages from Walnut Creek, Ca to Miami, Fl. They were two 42" plasma tv from viewsonic. They were packaged in the same way that Viewsonic sent these tv From Viwesonic Coorporation to Walnut Creek, where I was.

I paid for ground delivery and I insured both items in 2.500,00 each one. After 5 days the shipment arrived to my address in Miami. There were a problem with the shipment and I do not know what happen but UPS said that there were a problem and the boxes were broken. I call to make claim for the insurance. They said that they were not going to pay due to issuficient packaging.

That is what they said to me. The TV were packaged in the same way that viewsonic did.

After many e-mails and calls, they still dont want to pay the insurance because there were not insurance, according to them.

It is odd that UPS did 4 different charges to my credit card the last one and the most expensive one was four days after the shipment was delivery with problems. I told to them that it is very convenient for then make the last charge after knowing the status of the shipment. The would charge for the insurance after knowing that there were not a problem, or they would not charge for the insurance after knowing that in fact there were problem with the shipment.

Since I did everything over the phone, there is not proof that i pay for the insurance or not.
