Bottom line , per a warning I found (online google comment) prior to my experience
"OWNER IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY" in another apparent victims words. This crook (Bob Abel) condones his employees proven thefts of package contents. COPS EVEN CAUGHT THEM ON VIDEO TAPE STEELING MY PACKAGE CONTENTS, THEY BLAMED ON USPS!
True Story of UPS Store number #5478 (Bob's UPS):
I'm back and forth from Canada to Vegas (as many of my business associates and residents of Nevada). I want convenience for my business and private packages, although not at the expense of any security risk like anyone else.
This piece of "work" Bob Abel in the first place overcharges in contrast to any other UPS store, the very nice girl that works there (I believe her name is Jessica) granted me a discount to match other prices so I proceeded since they were closer to my place of business.
There are two juvenile delinquents working there that look and act like
real life Beavis and Buttheads, they are actually named appropriately (no joke)
RYAN and BRIAN. These punks are about 16 and 18 years of age. Bob Abel is a an old, ugly Richard Nixon looking Mother Funker, Can't miss him.
I soon realize the girl that signed me up is never there, Im forced to deal with these punks. I see right through them
(fake pleasantries - VERY shady eyes!), per my years of Casino Gaming work. Pursuant to a background check I ran on the owner, Bob has a background in Casino work but in Finances (unlike perceptive gaming personal like me), hence his bottom line is to pay these jokers minimum wage even at expense of theft vs. paying a responsible and trustworthy adult.
Only a mere 5 days after opening my new mail box, due to my own security breach discussing the contents of incoming packages (vintage computer video games - Specifically the Vic-20), for sake of small talk and them being careful with the packages. These punk plan their crime!
Two worker punks of Bob Abel - RYAN and BRIAN (how to spot them):Ryan (criminal theif with
beady eyes , shady eyes, cheap a*s blonde color hair) not to be confused with co-worker
Brian (co-conspirator with
tiny pea head, brown hair) both loser punks that look like they play dungeons and dragons on meth days off. One glance , you'll know what I'm saying. lol
Ryan leaves phone "UPS store package, blah blah", I go in and he will not look at me to serve me. Bob gives me my package, a huge bubble mailer with contents only in bottom filling about %20 of package, a RE-SEALED package.
Right away I knew it was problem, open is and two video game cartridges fall out. I get home to confirm a mail theft occurred. I go back to store, Ryan the human piece of crap is being stand-offish when I ask to see Bob after glancing at the opened package in my hand. me "is Bob here?" , Brian the crook "Ya" (not moving), me "well can you get him" Ryan the crook says nothing and walks to the back.
Bob lies right away saying the package came in with tape, significance being should it have the theft did not occur there. Bob has video surveillance :), I let him know reviewing it is necessary as I am conducting an investigation on this theft.
After a exhaustive 10-day investigation of me calling every single USPS branch from the state it was shipped in, I know it happened at this store. During the entire investigation, Ryan is more rude each time I got in. Ryan tries to deter the investigation "how do you know it happened around here?" etc. 15 years of many, many business and personal shipments I have NEVER seen or heard of re-sealed package of stolen contents.
Finally, Bob tells me I can review the surveillance video tape of the package coming in so see if there is tape (USPS does NOT re-tape packages nor any reputable UPS store being against policy to deter thief employee's like Ryan).
Keep in mind, Ryan denied initially and throughout my investigation any knowledge of taping the package!
The surveillance footage clearly shows this punk Ryan OPENING the package, going out of frame to return with a TAPE gun to RE-SEAL the package of stolen contents (video games he knew were coming to my box).
Right away crooked ugly Bob asks "Can I offer you a refund?", amazingly (perhaps being related to the punk) Bob remarks how his customers (primarily elderly people clearly being ripped off) adore this punk in protest of firing him. Ryan apparent changed his story to Bob that is told him about the re-taping and Bob dismissed it as since he is over 60, his memory failed him.
When I leave the store I call UPS corporate office, they instruct me its a police matter. I call police to make a report and since there is video they want to come out to Bob's UPS. I was in traffic, therefore this time delay served in the criminals favor as the police arrived first and Bob actually lied to the POLICE to prevent removal of the proven lying thief!
Bob declares on police record I will be refunded once the remaining packages "come down the pipeline".
I had packages in transit at this time which I would not have if the punk admitting he re-sealed my package even if denying the theft. The odds of concealing re-taping without the theft are so astronomical its impossible therefore no wonder he lied until the very bitter end.
Bob tried to punish further with more crime for being a victim! there were two more police occurrences as Bob pretending packages did not arrive I had tracking proof otherwise! Getting my packages became like pulling teeth. Bob wanted to victimize me further for being a victim the first place!
In the end I paid a reputable UPS store to retrieve my packages to avoid the crooks, I had to open everything on video and off course Bob being the crook he is did NOT even honor refund.
I wont lie, he unleashed a real son-of-a-b***h in me, after all these items were stolen from my kid. Only weeks after terrible untimely deaths in the family, these gifts were meant to uplift spirits.
I hate the evil piece of human garbage Bob and his crooked employees so much Im honestly never going to let this rest until I pay someone $1000 to nail these gang of thieves. Trust me I'd love to catch these punks on neutral ground committing crimes so I could justifiably blow their miserable heads off!, although legal justice will suffice to date.
I NEVER want anyone else to go through something like this especially when the victim is a young child. In fact

I have thieves with a passion, believing in old world regulations of physical punishment to identify them preventing them from easily blending, to enter honest families homes. Lets shut them down!
Thank your for your time, hope you learned to be weary of UPS stores and recognize these crooks pattern of being rude to you in a sociopath manor when your packages go missing or tampered with. Well lets get some justice here and $1000 in your hands.

Thefts out of this store does not surprise me, true with "punk kids" running the place with and without creepy owner. Wish I knew this before I got burned like the others.
Great UPS store #4128 around the corner at 9850 s Maryland pkway a-5, great vibe, service and pricing.
