Have made 3 attempts for file a damage insurance claim. Each time I wasn't contacted in any way. Each time more damage and less packaging material. Twice they said they made a mistake and it wasn't inspected. Now they are claiming insuffienct packaging. Why should I be out of the money for the damage they caused? Unless this is resolved. I will ask my company (Who happens to be the largest newspaper group in the USA) to boycott the use of UPS. I will also report it to the better bussiness bureau, file small claims and contact the media. I want action ASAP. It has been 2 months.

Emails about claim
-------------------------------------

Excuse me? The initial package was sent with sufficient packaging. I have shipped many monitors (Some overseas) and this was the first ever to be damaged. When I received the package back the first time, more than half of the packing material was missing and was replaced with brown craft paper (The type you use at you drop-offs). The recipient of the monitor sent it back with complete packaging. Each time the monitor has been returned to me, the damage to the unit was increased. The worst being when the case was forced open upon the 3rd inspection. Had it been inspected initially as it should have, there wouldn't be a problem. I insist to have this matter addressed by a manager ASAP.

This is the 3rd attempt to get this resolved.

I have yet to receive any paperwork in the mail.

It may appear to be just a monitor, but this is a special monitor that has become difficult to find. I need to get this resolved so my buyer can receive his refund.

Marshall,

Received the monitor back again. This time they broke the case apart to look inside. When I called this time, information on this has not been posted as of yet. She stated that they should be mailing claim forms or a letter. Guess we have to play the waiting game again.

F.Y.I. The monitor was re-packed for return to UPS exactly as it came to me. In your earlier e-mail you told me that it was insured by UPS, and UPS told me that you would have to file the claim. I did not ship it back to you, UPS came to my house and picked it up and told me that they would contact you and settle the claim with you. The case was not cracked when it left me. I need any documentation you have showing that UPS picked it back up from you.

I called UPS just now and was told, once again. They told me that they didn't know anything about a pickup from you, they had just denied the claim, and that no further action could be taken by me. They said that this was not my concern, they couldn't even talk to me about it.

Marshall,

After we received the monitor back. It was taken back to UPS for an inspection. At which time they said that the monitor should have never been returned to me. You were the one responsible for filing the claim. They went ahead and took it and told me that I would be called later that day to pick it up and that you would be the one receiving the insurance claim. I never received a phone call. The next day it was delivered to my home. I assumed that you received payment for this.

Upon your email, I again called UPS and they said it was never inspected and returned in error. They picked it up again yesterday.

It did appear to be damaged again when it was shipped back to me from you as a result of poor packing. Case is cracked. The fact that half the packing material is missing may cause a problem with receiving the insurance claim.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.

We received information from UPS that they had settled the claim with you on subject monitor. We need to know when we'll be getting our refund.

Thanks,
