Mr.Marshall Thomas called me and threatened to have the District Attorney file charges and arrest me for check fraud from a payday loan years ago.I asked him if they bought my account and he stated yes.

Mr. Thomas told me his company Upstate Debt Management wanted $1,500.00.  The company would agree to a $50.00 payment and he wanted the rest of the $500.00 that he said he would accept.I gave  Mr. Thomas my bank information and he took the $50.00.  I called Mr. Thomas after he got the money and told him I couldn't afford to pay him $500.00,he said to call him to let him know about the money. Mr. Thomas called me 05/30/12 and said what happened? he attempted to withdraw $500.00 out of my bank account without my permission.  He then threatened me,he will put out a warrant for my arrest and then he hung up on me.

I researched and found all the information on the fraudulent activity of this company.  I called Mr. Thomas back and told him he was being investigated for fraud and my attorneys would contact him.  Mr.Thomas attempted to call me back, I am working and unable to take numerous personal calls. he has not tried to contact me after this  incident which happened today.
