Complaint Review: Upward Christian Fellowship Flat Rock NC

This wouldn't be a bad church except their guitar player/music director Barry Gueva Conner Hendersonville NC is a convicted felon, convicted of manufacturing methamphetamines with 2 DUI's who is a functional alcoholic/pot user and is currently having an adulterous affair with my wife. He's married, according to him. He uses the church to find women he can con out of money and assets. He's used and abused a number of women. He brags about how easy it is to manipulate and take advantage of women, friends, family, colleagues, brags about being a sexual deviant who has had multiple STD's. He cheated on a previous wife, and had an affair with his last wife while she was still married. He lied to a former fiancee. He gave my wife a marijuana/psychotropic mix that nearly killed her, later admitted it and thought it was funny. The church invades the privacy of their members and in one instance made someone homeless. And it wasn't the first time. If they find out about people living together without benefit of marriage they will see to it that one person leaves the home and they don't care who they hurt. As for Barry Conner, they know what kind of person he is and either he has them snowed or they don't care. The church is full of gossipers and troublemakers. I agree they have a good music program, it's laid back and relaxing in atmosphere and dress and lead pastor Anthony Craver is an excellent speaker. If they'd just clean up some of this mess and not mind other people's business it wouldn't be a bad place to attend. And I might even consider coming back. But the way it stands now, serious changes need to be made. I've attended this church for several years now until Barry targeted my wife and refused to stop the affair. I complained but nothing was done so I left. I've donated multiple times, things like goods and when I attended I tithed every week like I was supposed to.
