UPWARD FOUNDATION "Nonprofit" Organization Phoenix Arizona
In Mai - June 201, we were about to change the address and we decide to give away things we did not use. We received several solicitations through regular mail and I contacted them all by telephone. The most trustworthy seemed to be UPWARD. Especially because they promised to leave an itemized list of all things we would donate. We put out in the front yard things worth several thousands of Dollars, expensive and unused clothes from France, expensive and unused kitchenware, books, used but usable chairs.
They took everything away but the only thing they left behind was a piece of paper that said "greetings" or something similar and their logo. They lied to me and I feared that they were criminals. I asked them by telephone to return my things, they refused. They said I had to give them an itemized list of all things first.
I am reporting this more than a year later because I got sick and had to spend several days in the hospital and then we moved and I lost all their information. I did not even remember their name.
