Where can I start With this!!! I saw an ad on craigslist and found there on craigslist.org.
Can't always trust Craigslist for everything now a days. So i decided to call them talked with someone by Lt. Oliver over the phone schedule an appointment for 2 hours later. I arrived there and all looked good till I heard a verbal argument with someone about something I couldn't make out what they were yelling about. Anyways my turn came up and went in the office met Lt. Oliver And he said this other man is going to interview you. I said OK. Mr Brown was his name. So he intros himself and i to him. Them we start the process. he said OK this is what I can do for you, i can Place you In the South Street Seaport area more specifically Staten Island Ferry Port.
I get all Excited and all cause its government property. he then is like in order to position you there you need to take this course and it cost this much. I took it. Next day came went back waiting for the instructions now on what is the next step. he then tells me i need to see Mrs. Nelson for a "JOB PLACEMENT" I said What job placement. You told me about the S.I.Ferry and all this now you telling me about JOB PLACEMENT. ANYWAYS peeps. They sent me to three places. And three places told me negative things about them. I went to another Job Placement agency And they told me the most Negative thing nobody told me before: THEY ARE BEING INVESTIGATED BE THE STATE. UDCES is are thieves. They only to take your money to put money in there pockets. They don't take your money to help you find a job.
So be aware out there there are many more or placement agencies like Urban Dynamics. Keep your EYES open And ignore the ads on Craigslist about the security Jobs. Not all are security companies heck most of them are scams.
