Urban Florist - Vancouver Florist Company - Artisan false advertising ripoff scam, unsatisfactory products, deliverary dates and customer service, not a FTD member as advertised Vancouver British Columbia
My boyfriend decided to use this website as he was ordering from New Zealand to be delivered in Nova Scotia Canada. The product he chose to send was titled "Rose In a Box, With Teddy" and described as "a delightful duo including a 4" Plant in Artisan Box". The photo online displays what I would assume is a "planter box" for what I would also assume due to the above wording, is a rose plant The cost is advertised $49.99 Canadian, and $9.99 service charge.
My boyfriend was charged $70.00.... and I recieved one card, one small teddy and one single rose, one day late. There is no box, artisan, or box of any kind, and certainly no planted roses. Upon further investigation with my local florist (who filled the order), I found out that the "FTD" order she received was for "Rose In Victorian Box with Teddy" OR SIMILAR TO VALUE for $26.00!!!!!!!!!! I am disgusted with the whole matter.... although after reading other testimonials, I see we may have been one of the luckier scammed individuals! We are in the process of trying to contact the site on its toll free number, but 6+ phone calls being on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time we have as of yet been unable to make contact.
