Urban Florists, Vancouver, B.C. ripoff, did not deliver order as advertised on website Internet
On Friday February 11, 2004 I placed an order on the Internet with Urban Florist for an advertised Valentine Special called English Classic and it was upgraded two classes to a Supreme which stated it came with an upgraded assortment of Red roses, Stargazer lillies, purple irises, purple Matsumoto asters, red carnations and White Monte Casinos and for a short period of time (February) included a vase.
The total price was $88.97 U.S. Funds which I paid by credit card. The delivery was for Monday, February 14th on Valentines day. The delivery was received by FedEx at approximately 10 a.m. MST and included 10 near-dead pink roses wrapped in cellophane and that is it. There were no other flowers, no vase, no plant food. The roses died within the next 8-10 hours and were thrown out. I contacted Urban Florists Customer service 888 number 3 times during the same day and was hung up on by their automatic answering service with the comment that they were experiencing to heavy telephone flow.
I have sent 3 emails to their customerservice@urbanflorist.com address and have not received an answer yet. I called their local number at area code 604 and received a message that their mailbox was full and could not take any more messages. This is a rip off and I see by your website not the first one reported on them.
