I bought a piece of luggage in September 2011 and returned it the next day. The owner saw me in the parking lot returning the merchandise and took it from me. As we went to the store he asked me in an intimidating way what other piece was I going to buy from him. I told him that I wasn't and I wanted a credit back to my card.He did the paperwork and I left for my trip. I was gone about 1 month and upon my return I noted on my statement that he did not give my credit back. I called my credit card company and they gave me a provisional credit back. I had the paperwork at that time.
2 weeks later the card company asked for my for the paperwork and I couldn't find it. They took away the credit back for lack of documentation.

Being frustrated I took my husband with me to Urban Traveler and found the owner. After some discussion he admitted to us that he remembered me and that I returned the piece of luggage. He told us he would follow through and look at his books.
I have yet to receive a credit back of $192 and I doubt that I ever will. This man has closed numerous stores and is obviously not doing well as a retailer. He was very intimidating to me when I was there with a return.

My advice is to stay away from him and his store as he has very unethical business practices. Don't bother with the BBB as they won't help you out. They get their dues from the retailer.
