urbanq.com Item returned for refund. Sent emails asking for a refund . Received many excuses why they did not credit it yet Still Waiting

I made a purchase (several items) from urbanqcom at the end of January 2002. The first of February I returned an item $16.99 and asked for a refund. After several weeks, I sent email requesting status of my refund. I was told to wait 6-8 weeks. I sent numerous email requesting my refund to no avail. I received messages back - one stating the shipping departmentwas having problems, but that they had received my item and to wait a couple more weeks. When I sent the next email, they said their computers were down. Now it has been another couple of weeks.

It does not appear that I will be getting a refund. The amount is not large, but now it is the principal of the matter that galls me. It has been one big stall and now I cannot go through my credit card company to dispute a claim because it has been more than ninety days.

If you can help others avoid being ripped off by this company and to help me get my refund, it would be greatly appreciate. Thank you!
