Reading some of the complaints against this company, mine seems trivial and premature. However, after reading the reports on this website, I figure I might as well say my piece, and hold on for a long ride sounds like things with these guys aren't quick to handle complaints.

I placed an order 2/24/02, as a gift for my nieces for Easter, 2002. I was told my order would ship within 2 hours. I have not yeat received it. My credit card was charged on 3/8/02, yet they say they sent the package via UPS 8 days earlier, Hellooooo.... they take their money after they ship the product? This was the first sign that there was a problem. There is no UPS record that it was ever shipped. The UPS tracking report doesn't show it was ever shipped. Now UrbanQ is telling me that it'll be at least 10 days till UPS is done investigating and then they will decided whether to refund my money or send a replacement. I wasn't going to do anything about it, but when I typed their name into my browser, it brought me to this website about consumer ripoffs. After reading the complaints here, I realized I may be completely screwed. I have gone to the Big Class Action website and the NY attorney general website to post complaints. I'm interested in pursuing this as far as need be to get my money back and to help others put this rotten company out of business. I should have known there was a problem when I couldn't find a physical address or phone # on their website.

Just wanted to report that after filing reports with the NY atty generals office, the better business bureau and a few others and sending copies to Urban Q, my money was refunded.

I'd like to add that because of my persistence with my local UPS, they are investigating Urban Q. Apparently they do a lot of business with UPS, but now UPS is investigating to see just how many "lost packages" they have been claiming.

Also- for anyone who is interested...... The CORRECT current address for Urban Q is 447 Doughty Blvd, Inwood, NY 11096 Can't say where or how I got it, but I wanted to share with anyone who wants to put the screws to this poor example of a mailorder company. Sad thing is, people like them make everyone look bad. There are a lot of good honest companies out there who are tapping into the convenience of the internet, one day no one will trust any internet company enough to take a risk.

Best of luck to the rest of you...........
