US Bank Home Mortgage US Bank gouges its customers with on-line payment fees! Owensboro Kentucky
For no valid reason other than the fact that they can, US Bank charges their mortgage customers an escalating fee when they pay their mortgage on-line. The fee ranges from $3.50 to $5.00 per payment if the payment is paid between 4-15 days after the 1st of the month. This is not a late fee as the terms of the mortgage agreement indicate that the payment is not considered late until the 16th of the month. I pay all of my bills electronically and there isn't a single entity that charges me a fee to send them money except for US Bank. It is a scam and a rip-off!

It is neither a ripoff OR a scam. It is simply the cost of doing business. If you do not like it then GO to a bank and pay it ONTIME!! Otherwise your post reads as "Im too d**n lazy to get off my a** and pay ontime in a bank and they want to charge me! waaa waaa"

With all due respect, screw you d****ebag!
I wasn't trying to solicite anyone's opinion on this matter outside of US Bank itself.
I work a full-time job, run a consulting business on the side, and have a family to tend to so I would disagree with your assumption that I am lazy. Plus, it's 2014, who the hell goes to an actual bank?
GOOD DAY SIR!

When you TRY to mail checks to US BANK they LOSE them CONSISTENTLY. I am currently paying online because I give up on trying to figure out where the check I sent went. Irvine is telling me they sent it to Kentucky. Kentucky doesn't have the check because checks are still being routed to DOWNEY SAVINGS AND LOAN who is NOT THE MORTGAGE SERVICER ANYMORE.
Maybe these banks need to get their crap together before i sue!!!
You have a nice day :)
