Us Billing i got ripped off for over $1500.00 by usbi San Antonio Texas
I had twin valley telephone for my local telephone service. They screwed up and put down that i had sbc as my long distance provider when i signed up for my local service when i actually had mci. so therefore twin valley tried to rout all my long distance calls through sbc and sbc refused them and they were routed through williams communication since i had no account with sbc. Now usbi is billing my local service provider (on behalf of williams communication) who is in return billing me. I would not be so upset except for the facts that the calls were billed at a casual rate(like almost $2 per minute),the calls were then billed onto my local phone bill,my local provider never let me know that this was going on,and i never received a bill for it for 4 months and now my telephone has been disconnected because of this. Now im expected to pay this outlandish bill before i can get even just my local phone service back. It's third party billing and it has ruined my life. If you ask me twin valley is responsible for the screw up on who they put down as my long distance provider. I called twin valley to dispute the charges and they said they couldn't do anything about the charges and would not take any responsibility for putting the wrong long distance provider on my account. They reffered me to usbi and said that usbi would be able to take care of the situation for me. I called usbi and went round and round with them. At one point i was told by a costomer service rep by the name of damon (id#83086) that they would credit me $1,371.99 to my bill for the mishap. Needless to say they never issued me any credit on my bill and now are reffering me to one of the many company's that they handle billing for. Which is williams communications. usbi said that i would have to dispute the charges through williams communication. So i call williams com. and all i get is a answering system saying that if im calling because of charges from usbi or wiltel that appear on my local telephone company bill, to leave a message and they would return my call within 2 days. So pretty much all they keep doing is reffering me in one big circle and none of the companies can seem to take any responsibility and take care of this situation for me. I guess they think that im just going to give up and let them screw me,but they are wrong cause after i finish this report iam calling the better business bereau and filing a complaint against all three companies.
