US Credit Com ripped me off, tricked me & lied to me. Las Vegas, Nevada *UPDATE ..got my refund!
On the date of 05/01/02 this lady from this place she calls "us credit com" calls me and tells me that I am guaranteed a unsecured credit card between the amounts of $400.00 to $2500.00 and that all I have to do is pay a processing fee of $149.00 and that I will have my card within 3 to 4 weeks.
I asked her several questions including a phone number, she gave me a toll free number and check this out folks, when you call this toll free number (1-877-873-7334) all you get is MUSIC, there is absolutely no message telling you that you have reached any credit company and no one even answers your call!
They did not give me their mailing address and they did not even ask me for my social security number so what does that tell you? they beat me out of my money!!!
Please people, let's not let this so called "US credit com" get by with this action. I am diabled in a wheelchair and my income is VERY limited and I'm sure that they have gotten others in my predicament.
I am going to call the bank monday to see if they have screwed me yet but I'm sure that they have, it was 4 days ago. I am so glad that I found www.ripoffreport.com because now I have us credit coms address and main phone number. And do you know HOW I found www.ripoffreport.com? I was looking for us credit com!

According to information from Nevada State Dept. of Business and Industry, Financial Institutions Division, on October 2, 2000, the company was issued a "Cease and Desist" for unlicensed Nevada installment loan company activities. Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 675, Installment Loan provision, prohibits the company from engaging in the installment loan business, in this state, without first obtaining from the commissioner of financial institutions, a license to do so.

I received a phone call from this lady named Lisa on the date of 05/23/02. She asked me if I wanted a refund of the $149.00 that they took from me. I told her yes and she said that it would be back in my checking account by the date of 05/28/02 at the latest due to the Memorial day holiday. I did in fact receive a FULL refund from US credit com on the date of 05/28/02. Lisa was in fact very friendly about it and she kept her word, it even shocked me that I got back every cent!
Thanks a lot Lisa for your help in this matter. I have learned that when dealing with a situation like this; LISTEN and TAKE HEED before agreeing to ANYTHING! Again, I would like to thank Lisa at US credit com.
