Was sent a letter stating my tax returen was sent to some collection agency for "student loans" owed from my wife from 2007! She did not work at all this past year so all of the taxes were based on my money. I was due back more than $2,300.00!
I was sent a notice saying my tax return was applied to delinquent debt that I owe! This action is authorized by federal law." I do not owe a thing, how can they take my money? All of the tax was based on me and ONLY me for income in 2018, Also, I am a 100% disabled Vet (Multiple Sclerosis, Gulf War Syndrome, and uncontrolled vascular head aches.
