A lady called me saying she was from the US Govt Grants Dept. of the Federal Treasury. She said that I had been selected randomly to receive an $8500 grant from the Govt. I knew this didn't sound right as I have gone to college and receive grants. No one ever calls you. She also asked me to confirm my first/ last name, my zip code and my age. I did all three. But did not give any other info. She also said that in order for me to receive the grant, they would need to either western union it, get my debit/credit card/ or bank info. I gave nothing. She then gave me an approval code: KL190 and the this number to call and give info to her managrer: 202-436-9948.
These people need to be stopped!!! I am sure there are so many people desperate to believe this. Thanks
