I bid on a pair of earrrings on this companies online auction website. Next to the photo for the earring they indicated on their report that the replacement value of the earrrings were $43,950.00.The report was Atlantis Pre-Auction Report, Jewlery Grading and Valuation Services.
Based on the fact that the earrings were worht this much I bid and 'won' the bid paying $11,693.50.
When I received the earring they did not 'sparkle' like diamonds should so I got them appraised. The appraisal from the Gemological Laboratory Services in Los Angels, which was done by a Graduate Gemologist (GIA) came back with a value of $9,750.00 !!! that is why they did not sparkle, the quality was NOT what was listed.
I contacted Multi Auction Services when I received the earring and they never replied with information on how to send the earrings back. I contacted my credit card company to help me but after three months, they said there was nothing they could do to help me and I had to pay for the earrrings plus interest!
I would like to return the earrings and get my money back!
