It all started with me looking for a metal building on line.  I filled out a form online a, then US Buildings called me one weekday afternoon.  Then after high pressure sales and telling me that a client of theirs had a heart attack and could not sell his inventory and they were taking back the inventory and selling it at 50% off, which sounded like a good deal.

I kept asking for the price and they would not tell me until I would commit to buying the building and how could I commit to buying the building without knowing the price.  Finally we settled on a size of a building that I wanted and funny thing - they just happened to have just what I wanted, already built and lying in a package, and it even had the ginger-bread trim that I wanted.

They kept pushing to have me commit to buying, and finally I said, OK I will buy upon approval of price.  After 4 to 5 mins.  The sales person came back on the phone and said; "You got the building".  I said, great I got the building, and I have a one year extension on delivery and they he gave me the price. .  By the time I was ready for the building, I got down and did my homework on Metal Buildings and found out that I could get a better price and a bigger building for less money.

So I called to discuss this with US Metals and they told me that I was cancelling the building and I said; No, I was not cancelling.  I was just trying to get them to include things on the building that other builders were  including.  That is when I was called a "skumbag" by the representative from US Metals.  He then hung up on me.   They also informed me that because I was cancelling I would have to  pay 50% of the  contract, after

I already paid 25%.  They then proceeded to send me to collections.
