Complaint Review: US periodicals

This "company" consists of a guy with a laser printer and a bank account.  He sends out billing notices to people he finds on the subscription lists of magazines, hoping they will pay him.  He implies that the existing subscriptions will be extended.  There is absolutely no evidence that this is so.  If you pay even a portion of the bill, there are no refunds after 10 days, and a $50.00 "processing fee" if you stop payment.  He scammed my 88 year old mother out of 1 payment toward a subscription to a national publication: when I talked directly to that national publisher, they could not state strongly enough that US Periodicals is a FRAUD.
