My story sounds just like everyone else's. I only wish I did my research prior to giving this company my money. I am not a lawyer and wanted to find the name of my birth mother/father through AdoptionRegistry.net (same company that owns/run US Record Search & AssetSearches.com). Luckily I charged the fee on my cred card & disputed the charge. This guy, I think his name is Fred has serious mental issues. Once I called (10 weeks later after filling out the form!), he said these things take time & he used to be a private investigator - blah blah blah!! I never raised my voice and just wanted some confirmation that my info was still being worked on, he never asked who I was and began to get very defensive, then became increasingly angry and hung up on me!! The entire call was no more than 4 mins and it was like he exploded! So I called back & said "I think we either got disconnected or you hung up on me" and that's it, he was furious! He basically told me to shove off, don't bother him, & hung up on me again!!?? I couldn't believe this guy is still in business! I immediately did a search on HIM and boy, did I see the light!
