US Telecom AKA U.S. Telecom Fake Statements sent in attempt to trick you into paying $425.00 La Verne California
My company received several of these "statements" from US telecom for $425.00. The statements do not have a logo or the name of the comany at the top. They give you a referance number and state that it is Due upon receipt. It detailed an itemized bill with a date two weeks prior and has an hourly rated billed to my company. It even has a detachable payment coupon and says on the back "How to read your statement". It all looks deceptivly legit.
I had never heard of this company and they certainly had not done any work for us. The fact that we got two identical statements from these same people to two different businesses (we use a DBA name) tipped me off. After a quick web search, I found it was a fake.
These are not legit bills. They ARE in fact solicitaions, the fine print says so. This company is intentionally trying to mislead individuals and businesses by making them think they owe money to this company for services they have rendederd. They are in fact only trying to trick you into sending them money.
