Complaint Review: Prestige Home Theater & Sound

I was contacted by Us Top Rankings to host and build a website in August of 2013. They were very pleasant and sounded like they had known everything about building websites. They lured me in like they were going to host, help design, advertise and set up a merchant account for me. I submitted my initial payment and told me what they would do for me. They were still very pleasant and of course I then had to investigate them. Where I looked up any feedbacks or reviews pertaining to Us Top Rankings everything looked positive so, I was impressed and trusted them to host my website and design. Next, I called them to inquire about everything that they will do exactly for me and my website. They then went over what they do and how to. Then they went over the prices that would suit my needs for my website so, I submitted the rest of my payment so the website could be started and was explained what I had to do to get started. They told me to provide them with item's photos and descriptions for them to design and start listings. Next, I called them and noticed that every woman sounded the same and always rushed me to get off the phone. I finally spoke to Megan the "supervisor" and was able to have a normal conversation with. I was able to find out that they will do to design my website with my approval of what I liked. She then said they would advertise my website on Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc. She also told me they would set me up with a merchant account. That's also when I found out that their company is located in The Philippines and not in California or "The West Coast" as they advertised to me. The next time I spoke to Megan I was checking out what she was all about but, I remained calm, pleasant and asking her the same questions that I did from the beginning. Because we were speaking to each other as if we had known each other for a long time I started with the questioning. She told me they would design my website with the photos and descriptions I provided, I would have to get myself set up with a merchant account, advertise my site and basically nothing. While I was questioning her she was trying to interrupt me and rush me off the phone. Once I figured it all out I took the money that I payed for a loss. I didn't here from Us Top Rankings until they started last week but, I let their phone calls go to voicemail. They continued to call up to today February 11, 2014 and emailed me today to inform me that they ran my credit card today to submit my payment to continue their services. They also told me my credit card was declined but, I already knew that because it was my old debit card that I had closed that account and reopened a new one. The last that I heard it was illegal to run a card without confirmation. It seemed like all they cared about was getting paid and scam the next. I would not recommend them to anyone and every time they open their mouths it's one sided and lies. They tell you what you want to hear at the beginning and then the s****.>
