USA Card Services ripoff Addison Texas
I signed up for services with Usa card services in March of last year (2005). I had to sign a contract that locked me in for a period of 48 months. (The fee on the contract was $96.00 per month). I signed the contract because Cody, the person I spoke with guaranteed that I will make money with this website, I had to make money I was told, because when I made money USA card services made money. USA card services debits my account $120.00 each month and has done so for the last 12 months.
Initially,I was sent a Debit card machine although I told USA card services that I had no dealing with the public and I would not need the machine. I was told that the machine was needed to do business online
I spent countless hours loading products, and figuring the technical know-how of the site. I have spent hundreds of dollars doing site optimization and perfectin my meta-tags and I have had no returns on my investment.
I was appointed a mentor by USA card services, one Mr. Bill Chandler, a wonderful gentleman I am sure, but he seem to have disappeared I have tried contacting him via e-mail and phone, sadly I have not heard from him.
I was told that the template used to construct the website does not meet the requirement set by search engines and web crawlers.
I returned the machine on the 23rd of March 2005.
Prior to this, I sent an email to the head of the company listing my concerns, and never got a call back. I also called Colony One the Host and seller of the website and highlighted the fact that the website was flawed, and was told basically that I needed to market the site to attract buyers.
Well Duh" who Knew?
Since then, I've learned that victims to this scam number in the thousands. I believe that this is a sophisticated way to fleece the government of their money, because this is a home business and one must declare a loss when filing taxes so the government picks up the tab for these unethical practices propagated by USA Card Services and their associats, namely LADCO, Global Tech Leasing, IPayment and Colony One.
