USA Card Services used high pressure sales to lie about what was being offered.

I signed up with USA Card Services in June, 2005. After being sucked into their scam, I hired two different, experienced web developers to help me decipher the "easy to get started" information provided. To this day my website is still under construction. I have stopped all use of anything USA Card Services or Colony 1 initially provided.

However, the biggest scam by far is the lease agreement.

Shame on me for signing an agreement, any agreement, from emotion and not using my business sense. However, how can anyone justify leasing equipment for a Point of Sell business (requiring a physical business location to use the equipment) when you are purchasing a service to start up an on-line, web based business (no physical location required)?

This one fact, the equipment lease agreement, is the clearest indication of the fraudulent practice of USA CARD SERVICES and GLOBAL TECH LEASING. Added to this the fact the lease is iron clad and non-cancellable for any reason. Why would a legitimate business need to insure you couldn't get out of a lease even for a legitimate reason? Answer: because they know everyone would cancel the lease once they realized YOU DON"T NEED POS EQUIPMENT FOR A WEB BASED BUSINESS!

LADCO Leasing and Colony 1 may or not be the bad guys here. I am told LANDCO bought my lease from Global Tech Leasing just days after I signed it. Therefore, I am believe they have their fingers in the pie as well. Although, once removed seems to give the employees the impression they are legitimate and untainted in this scam.

While I would like my money back ($5000 plus), and I would like to see justice done to all who participate in this scam. Mainly, I would like to stop the misery I have been trough from happening to anyone else. If anyone is up for a class action suite count me in.

Ex-employeee speaks out

Ex-employee in 2006 huh? So was I. As a matter of fact I was their top employee.
Until I became a "success coach" . This isnt the companies fault that people are swindled into a non-cancellable lease. Shoot it says on the paper they sign non-canellable lease. Heck, we tell people non-cancellable lease. I literally had an old lady tell me she thought she could make money by hitting a button on her desktop and money would come out. Cmon.
If the people whining on this site and the people filing suits against this company really want to speak out, they should write to GWBush and tell him to stop spending so much money overseas in fictional war and spend it in educating people on reality and what it takes to have a successful business. Not history, home Ec or any of the other stupid courses that this educational system offers. Shoot , I have sold to teachers who sound worse than some ten year olds. You want to sue someone , sue yourselves for not speaking up against the system . Not a company who clearly states what you are binding yourself to. You wantto be a succesful business owner, I can show you many people who educated themselves into wealth and success without wanting some company to do it for them . They took the sacrifice needed to become wealthy. As for me, I am working for a bigger company now. I tkae the lessons that I learned at USACS and applying them every day. Thanks guys. and to that worker, I guess yiou never went to the "lame" dinners , cause I don't know about you but I loved eating a good steak once a month. I guess you were fired cause you failed.

Hello. I used to work for the company for about 7 months. It was terrible there, they changed that pay range on us, thats how we were paid, by the number of transfers we did in a day, or good credit people, and had some cheezy dinner once a moth for the top reps.

To answer you report, your in a non cancelable lease, and you are told and called on three seperate occations by the phone rep, a compliance officer, and by the leasing company that you cannot cancel the lease, there is no buyer's remorse. You cannot cancel it, and since it is a lease, its a $5K mark against your credit if you skip payments on it.

You won't get your money back, but to answer your question why you can't cancel was so that 90% of businesses fail, and people will cancel the lease and get out if they don't put in the effort to work their business. I got hired in 06, and they did not use card readers there, just the merchant account with IPayment, and a laptop was the only physical item I saw.

The only thing I can suggest is follow through with starting your business and do "The Journey" educational program, there is good points in there, and good partners to help you start up. Good luck.
