Complaint Review: USA CHROME - American Revolution

I purchased a set (2) of spoke wheels from USA Chrome over the internet (ebay) in july. 2007 for $1199.72. That included a core charge, I send my old wheels to them, a set of bearings, that were NOT the the correct ones for my motorcycle, which he admitted were not right, after a phone conversation.

Where I live is 3 1/2 hours from any reputable shop that is capable, and I feel comfortable with the swap. Finally, in August I took a Friday off work and made the journey.

YOU GUEST IT!!! The wheels did not fit my motorcycle. After 3.66 hours of labor, 2 bearings that WERE CORRECT, and a couple of other very minor parts, I'M OUT $289.25. A NOT so pleasant phone call from Mr. Curran, claiming that those idiots didn't know what they were doing. and why didn't I have the swap done at CUSTOM SHOP. Well guess how far I am from a ____ custom shop.

Well, after several more phone calls, Mr. Curran telling me his mechanics were gonna figure it out. Me trying to get the credit card co. to collect for me, and a whole lotta other B. S., I sent the new wheels back in December 2007, and this is where the tax paying middle class people like me sit.

THANKS RIPOFF for letting me vent. Maybe the gov. will bail me out. HAHAHA!!
