Complaint Review: USA Credit - USAGoldCard

I finally realized USA Credit took $419.00 from my checking acct in January of 2005. I have several disabilities and one is "short-term memory loss" & my "severe depression" as I am diagnosed, leaves me useless when it comes to opening mail for weeks and months at a time. I called them right away.

On Jan. 11, 2005 a Supervisor, Darlene, told me that she would mail me an 'affidavit' to fill out and to send it right back so she could return my funds. I write "everything down", I have to. I did so and waited 2 wks and called and they said they never rec'd it. The next call was w/a 'Diane', another Sup'vr. She suggested I mail it. I did and nothing happened again.

I faxed it again last night, April 14, 2005 from Kinko's, the same place as before. This morning I got a call from USA credit telling me that "we can only refund you $119.00, I apologize but that is all". I said, "no way lady and now you will pay for court costs when the time comes as well as my money you stole". I hung up.

I have rec'd a total of five calls just this morning, 4/15/05. I am very, very ill in the mornings, 365 days/yr and I told them this and that I could no longer speak for a while. She tried to sound sympathetic to my illness and called later. I did not get the call in time when it rang. The last call a woman left a number but I could not understand the last 4 digits.

I am now going to keep on them since after that call I went to "mamma.com" and found all of this mess, i.e. the classic ripoffs they truly are. They told me in Jan of this year what a "reputable company they are" and bragged about themselves. What a joke but at my expense thus far.

I am so glad I found this site. I am NEVER going to stop until they give me all my money back. I never created an acct with them. I had to ask them what they are and what they do. I was told. Then the $19.95/mo for 11 months I inquired about.

I was told it was to cover auto emergencies and some sort of travel discounts. I then told them, "I cannot travel, I do not travel, and I do not have a car nor do I drive so why would I have taken this offer from you?" That was in Jan of this year.

At first they were all sweet and understanding and apologetic. I told them in no uncertain terms that I never heard of them and that this was an "unauthorized account" and I wanted ALL my money back and ASAP and I was very serious.

Can someone please tell me how to do this quickly? I cannot even pick up my prescription because I cannot afford it. These people are horrifying. They are Classic Ripoffs and need to go to jail. Fines would not be suitable for them. Thank you so much. P.S. If they do not replace all my money within 7-10 days I am going to Legal Aid. I already called them up.
