USA Platinum ripoff Stop these pigs from stealing any more money from honest consumers. Internet
USA Platinum charged me $199.99 to become a member. When I received my card, I found that I could only use it on the USA Platinum site online for a scarce amount of very overpriced items.
When I chose an item to buy, they charged me $14.95 as a downpayment. I've never had to pay a downpayment when using a credit card before. After paying the downpayment, they informed me via email that the item I chose to buy was no longer in stock.
Now, I see, there is no more website to order merchandise. I have no idea what the address of this company is or a phone number for this company. They conveniently left off any number or address on their credit card. This is definitely a rip off.
The way I look at it, this bogus company just stole $214.94 from me. Do I have any recourse? I am looking into it. There are laws out there against creeps like this, and I suggest everyone do everything they can to stop these pigs from stealing any more money from honest consumers.
