Complaint Review: USA Platinum

I was on the phone with the 'Accounting specialist' when she began telling me that I had been approved for 7500.00 unsecured credit line. When I heard her say that I could use the credit only at the USA CREDIT ONLINE SUPER STORE....I went immediately to my computer and did a search on it.

www.ripoffreport.com showed up in the top three..and as she babbled on about the benefits of increased 'buying power'..I typed away. I made my decision within 5 seconds from reading the testimonies posted online to NOT sign up.

The first red flag that went up was when I was asked for my Bank name and routing number....'to verify that my checking account was activated'.

Consumers, be cautious out there...that's a line of bull. Credit card companies DO NOT need to verify checking accounts to issue a line of credit.

This is one misleading company...and I said so while it was being 'recorded for quality assurance and training purposes'. I stated that USA Platinum did not conduct business with others with integrity..and misleading is lying no matter how you look at it. The best part was when they had a ready-made answer for my question about misleading consumers. RED FLAG #2.

Thanks for your testimonies ladies and gentlemen, your stories saved my family a lot of needless heartache and stress. The more stories that stack up against this company the better! Let's put them out of business!
