Complaint Review: USA Restore

My husbands company was subcontracted by USA Restore to complete siding and roofing on 3 different properties. Once the work was completed USA Restore refused to pay the subcontracting company. USA Restore demanded more money from the homeowners above the agreed upon amount, and has lied repeatedly to the homeowners who are furious with them.

The work has been completed now for a duration of 2 weeks, and the homeowners have paid in full, yet USA Restore refuses to pay the subcontractors for the work that was done. We have contacted them several time, including the homeowners but they are rude and say they don't care... In fact Jeffrey Bergmann, one of the owners of USA Restore told My husband and his partner go F*** Their-self when they contacted him about payment.

Now the subcontractors have been forced to put liens on all 3 properties in order to get payment for the work that was completed. In all our years dealing with general contracting companies and subcontracting, we have never came across a company that behaved this way. I contacted the owner of USA Restore again today to give him the opportunity to fix this issue and he blew me off. Now it goes into the legal system. I feel sorry for the homeowners who have used this company. They are a ripoff and a scam.
