USA Universal Subscription Agency Magazine Rip-Off Las Vegas Nevada
On July 7, 2007 a young man came to my door selling magazine subscriptions that would win him a trip to the Caribbean. He was young, college aged, personable and seemed on the up and up. I paid for the magazine subscription up front in cash; got a receipt and a promise the magazines would start arriving in 120 days or less. Today is December 18th, 160 days and counting, and no magazines. I called the number on the receipt, and all I get is an answering machine with a list of extensions. Every extension is a dead end; another recorded message telling you no one is available and you are then cut off or asked to leave a message in a mailbox, but then the mail box is full. Even the one titled "all other inquiries" asks you to leave a message but the mail box is always full.
This outfit is a classic rip-off operation and I should have known better than to pay money up front. Don't let these people screw you. Tell the kid who comes to your door to get a real job and quit ripping people off.
