Even though I feel that it is a rip off, I can see that there are more into this report. I have seen the report trend that many of those who write a report on here do not provide step-by-step of what happened. It could be that they either do not remember or intend to omit the part of their own mistake. Furthermore, the report is usually included hardship of their personal life in order to rake up others' sympathy. I feel uneasy with the hardship personal life info because it somewhat demonstrates the person's mentality...

Anyway to the OP, please elaborate the situation in detail including the time line. Thank you.

..Oh it is a total SCAM..but you were not aware of what you were doing and DID authorize them to charge your account. You can go to the website and then click on "register". Then the page comes up where you enter your personal information (I NEVER do this but you did)....

Okay on top it says...

BUY BARGAIN VEHICLES IN YOUR AREA. GET THE SECRETS TO BUYING CARS AT 70% OFF RETAIL..

Then the usual....

YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION
First Name:
Last Name:
Street Address:
 Zip:
Email: Phone:
 Confirm Email:

Then....

YES! START MY 7-DAY TRIAL FOR $1!Activation Fee:$1.00

BUT....THEN....is the oh so illusive "SUBMIT" button right on the same form you thought you were just submitting all this info and would only be charged one dollar...it says right above it...

By clicking Submit, you agree to be enrolled in the 7 day trial for $1.00, and after the trial expires, you agree to be charged a non-refundable membership fee of $39.80 per month until canceled. You may cancel your membership before the trial expires so that no other charges will ever apply.

Yep, you got took.  It seems apparent that "one dollar" is just for some kind of "activation" fee for a 7 day trial. If you do not cancel before those 7 days you agreed to be butt rammed and did in fact authorize $39.80 per month to be sucked out of your account so to speak. Hope you can fight it with your bank and whatever else you can do to shut these scammers down., In the interim it is important to help others avoid this scam by letting everyone know not to EVER click "SUBMIT" on some scam site without making sure what you will be charged and when..or better yet just avoid them altogether. No one is going to give you these gov auctions for a dollar. If it was truly gov it would not cost a dollar but be free. Genuine auto auctions require a dealers license and you don't even want to know what those cost and how much collateral you need before even being considered to get in. Look it up.
