i recieved a phone call from usashoppingclub lettiing be know that i have beem preapproved for a credit card with a limit of $7500.00 to buy merchadise with their company, all we need to do is verifiy your mailin, so can ig address, asked for my bithdate, also asked me if i still have a bank account, which i replied yes,and then asked for my social security number. i said wait a minute i really don't remember apply for a credit card with your company and i'm not going to give anyone my social security numberover the phone until i verify your company so can i have your phone number and website and i'll call you back. after i hung up the phone i went to the internet, my mcafee site advisor popped up directed me to the ripoff report site where i read reports from other peoples experiences with this company and boy i'm glad i did. i almost became another victim to this scam. ps don't give anyone your information over the phone especially if you didn't call them.
