USBI - ONE CALL COMM fradulant billing, ripoff! bogus charges Internet
USBI/One Call Comm has had charges placed on my local telephone bill for alleged telephone calls (2) totalling 11 minutes, on July 20th at 6:33 a.m. to a place called Guana. The charges were $18.59. Had to look it up on the Internet to find out where and what it is. Small country located ear Venezuela.
I've never heard of it so I can't imagine why I'd call there or whom I'd talk to - especially at 6:30 in the morning.
We must put a stop to these bogus charges being applied to the unsuspecting person's telephone bill. These companies could be making thousands of dollars on the consumer who doesn't closely review the itemized phone bills each month.
Our local telephone carriers should not allow these other companies to have access to their billing. Any true charges incurred should be billed separately and include a signed authorization for services provided.
