My Qwest bill had a preposterous charge to Australia that nobody here ever made, to a number no one knew, and billed by a company that was a complete mystery. A quick on-line search, entering the words "One Call Comm" brought me to rip-off.com where it was increasingly apparent what these people were all about.

I submitted a complaint to the Wa. State Attorney General's office, squared it with Qwest (after having to explain this was not a long-distance company that was using there billing services, but rather a sham outfit charging for "phantom" calls; a fraud), and called the number to USBI. They don't answer with "Hello" or "How may I help you," but rather run their spiel about about a particular charge being made for an internet connection from "someone" at my number. Nonsense. They then immediately say (without being asked) that they will will remove that charge and block further access to that "number" if I will provide some more info. No way.

USBI is not a long distance carrier, nor do I believe that ONE CALL COMM, who they purport to bill for even exists; except perhaps as a creation of USBI. They are a sham operation dealing in fraud. Notify your phone company, attorney's general, and USBI. Especially USBI. Tell them we're not going to take it!!
