USBI Ripoff practices elder abuse Las Vegas Nevada
While assisting my elderly mother with her phone bill, I find a $6.00 charge appearing every month for the past three years. After calling USBI and requesting that they remove the charge, they were very uncooperative. After playing the tape of her "consent" it is obvious that no such action occured. Now, I am having a difficult time getting these charges erased.
Furthermore, why aren't the legitimate phone companies more angry about this rip-off company? I spoke with a SBC rep this morning and she even stated that if we don't pay this, they will disconnect service. But, after going to the CPUC website, I find out that is not true. New rules allow you to stop paying while you dispute the bill. Why would SBC not know this?
