USBI, TELLIS, ONE CALL COMMUNICATION ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing for long distance calls on internet Internet
From what I read in this forum, the fastest explanation of what happened to me is modem highjacking.
I received my phone bill on 10/25 & it was 4 times the normal amount. Total bill was for $261.94-of that bill there were USBI Charges of $171.30. Supposedly these were for 5 calls made to the UNITED KINGDOM.
Four calls were listed under ONE CALL COMMUNICATION for total of $41.79. These calls went through while online (most placed around midnight)& the computer froze up while the modem dialed out.
One call was listed under TELLIS at 877-770-2022.
Operator said she would credit charge for 41.79 but she'd have to transfer me to One Call Comm to take care of rest of bill. She transferred me alright to a sex line! I hung & realized I was being scammed.
Something has to be done to stop this madness.
I've filed reports w/three agengies so far including FBI IFCC.
ALSO got a billing separately through the mail from ONE WEB DIRECT.
