Complaint Review: USC School of Dentistry/Herman Ostrow School of Dentistryt of USC

USC School of Dentistry/Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry terminated my treatment without my consent.  I prepaid all my fees. 

Because I have been experiencing so much pain on a continuing basis, on Oct 5, 2012, I had x-rays of a tooth taken by an outside dentist. The diagnosis for the tooth was as follows: "The tooth has a fracture and needs to put posting on the tooth before replacing the existing crown which the dental group has placed. One of the USC  dentist wrote in my dental TX , the tooth may need re-tx and that there may be a root fracture that we cant see yet that may be causing some of the discomfort. I have repeatedly informed the dentists of physical pain that I have been experiencing for so long.

USCSD and the Director of Quality Assurance, Marina Jimenez has continued to disregard my grievances, and apparently their own diagnosis as well. If USC school of Dentistry/Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry would have just followed up on their own findings, I could have avoided so much pain.

In addition, USC School of Dentistry/ Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry is still required to replace two teeth of the temporary veneers with permanent veneers, and to replace the front areas of the temporary bridge with permanent one immediately due to causing a lots of irritation in the areas.

I had to pulled a tooth due to dental groups negligence , as a result of that, the associate dean of the clinical affairs, Dr. Sigmund Abelson promised me to have a free implant on the tooth which will include stens and crown. However, it seems Dr. Abelson has no intention of keeping his promises. 

I have tried to have our dispute settled by a neautral third party, but the idea was rejected by Jeannine McGregor, USC health cousel. I have written a letter to the trustees of USC School trying to have them connect me to an Obbudsman at USC School to intervene to resolve my issue with USC Dental. Unfortunately, my letter was intercepted by Jeannine McGregor. I received an email immediately from Jeannine McGregor who demanded me not to contact anyone at USC School.

I would like to point out there are sixteen Patient Care Principles listed in the USC School of Dentistry clinica Manual as General Policies and Standards. Principle #8 states:The patient receive continuity of care and completion of treatment. The Principle #13 states: The patient shall have access to Patient Advocate shall there be any questions or concerns related to the patient's treatment not previously addressed by those directly participated in the patient's care. Those policies are not in practice.They are non existance.

The USCSD website states that school "through its dental facilities and communicty service programs prides itself on providing cutting-edge, comprehensive and compassionate dental care" and "world-class quality service and efficiency". That's total false. Stay away from this place. It will be your worst DENTAL NIGHTMARE!!!

USCSD/Herman Ostrow of School of Dentistry is big SCAM. They will take you money, but they will not complete any of your treatment. BUYER BE AWARE!!

JUST A BUNCH OF ARROGANT PEOPLE. THEY THINK THEY ARE ABOVE OTHERS. THEY THINK THEY ARE GOD. OMG!!

PS. Do not mess with Veronica Parra, Advance Specialty Manager, I was harassed by her and her assistants! SCARY!
