Complaint Review: Utilities Inc. Lake Utilties Inc

I have been having issues for close to a year with this Utilities company.  For starters, they charge base charges of close to $35.00 per month plus taxes and fees even if you don't use a drop of water.  Who ever heard of such absurd water charges???  This is WATER we're talking about here!  At my previous home in Florida, less than 50 miles away, I actually used just as much water, and my bill was less than $100 for 3 MONTHS...My average bill with this FLEECING COMPANY IS CLOSE TO $130.00 PER MONTH!!!!  THAT'S $360 FOR 3 MONTHS....????!!!????

RIPOFF!!!!

And the best part about it is if you decide to dispute a bill and pay it 2 weeks late, they come WITH NO NOTICE, AND SHUTOFF YOUR WATER....JUST SO THEY CAN ADD AN ABSURD RECONNECT FEE!

Then, when we get our next bill, they BILLED US AGAIN FOR THE RECONNECT FEE AND THE PREVIOUS UNPAID BALANCE AND ARE INSISTING THEY HAVE TO DO IT BY LAW AND THAT WAS JUST OUR PREVIOUS BALANCE - ALTHOUGH IT CLEARLY STATES ON THE BILL THAT ITS A RECONNECT FEE PLUS UNPAID BALANCE (WHICH WAS PAID)  I AM FORCED TO PAY THESE BOGUS CHARGES AGAIN OR ELSE THEY WILL DISCONNECT MY WATER!!!!  SCAMMERS!
