I purchased a vacation plan on 30 Mar 05 for $6,199 (22 weeks) and made an annual charge payment of $290. I have only booked one week successfully and they didn't confirm the reservation until one week prior to the vacation start date (we made a backup reservation for another location on our own). We expected to use all 22 weeks in a three year period, but it appears Vacation Network's business operation is to make sure this can not be accomplished so we will have to pay the annual charge for several more years. We have left hundreds of voice messages and e-mails for Vacation Network with no response. When we finally reached a representative, they told us that the original representative we were dealing with no longer works there and there is no record of our vacation request.

I sent them a demand letter requesting a full refund. They responded with a letter admitting they have had performance issues and offered a refund of 25% of the purchase price (or extra vacation weeks). I am now filing a lawsuit in Williamson County (site of the original sales office) since this is not a reasonable offer.

I am no longer paying the annual charge and hope this message helps ensure no one else is taken by Vacation Network.
