Complaint Review: Vacation Professionals Inc.

Vacation Professionals, Inc. sent a mailing that resembled a tax document to my home. The document stated "Our Accounting Department shows that you have been awarded two round trip airline tickets to any major international airport anywhere in the continental USA. To claim this special gift, simply call 1-888-576-1241"

I called the number to remove my name off the list, as there was no obvious return address. The call center representative told me that he could not remove my name from the list unless I heard his offer. I declined and then was told that he was not able to remove my name but could not tell me the name of the company he was receiving calls from. He told me to throw the offer away if I did not want it.

I was able to locate an address on the back of an enclosed "boarding pass" and traced the company to Vacation Professionals, Inc. in Methuen. I would suggest avoiding this scam and not wasting an afternoon as described by Nancy Marblehead, Massachusetts in a prior report on the same company
