Yup we fell for it!  Thought we had a better deal than our current discount club. Almost canceled and all. We were told no one can sell their properties and even the agent that spoke with us said she'd been to a meeting her cousin did for the membership we're currently in. Gave this big hoopla that she was questioning the person doing the presentation so much that they asked why she was there.

Of course we couldn't do the initial price, so they "bargain" down to something we could've done.  On our way home looking at all the documents they gave and being excited I noticed a few things different than what they were saying.  After further review and thinking about all the people we spoke with and what they said about our new product we still were ok.

A couple days later I had to look up something for a friend under our current membership, what do I see???  VACATION VILLAGE - what you say. Yes I can book from my current membership (which according to the agent during the tour said you could not).  Also, the agent said their weeks are $399 and - $599 nothing more.  Another false statement. When we went into or temporary access the trips were more. Another thing that proved what we already had was better.  So, we decided to cancel.

We canceled within the Florida statue timeframe.  Was informed they received our cancelation and would process the refund.  After I call again for the third time to find out what happened to our refund and was told "I'm not sure why it wasn't processed on the 1st, but it was done on the 5th. Really, who does a refund on a Sunday?  So now it's "up to your bank when your receive it" and "7-15 days for your check.

Mind you 5 days has already gone by since initially told that. Although I enjoy staying at timeshares and even thought about working for one...They are truly not worth the money with the other options out here.  If you're single and have the funds to waste have at it, but again I'd suggest do your research!!!
