Well, I purshased my car back in 1996. I had purshased a Ford
Escort Lx. The price at the time was about 14 thousand, which was
ok for a new car. I traded in a car and $500.00 cash, this was
given for down payment to the new car. I was a first time buyer
with no credit established at that time. after many hours of
negotiating and not getting anywhere, I finally decied to just get
the car. The plan was a five year payment of $392.95 a month, with
a 21% intrest rate. I had no choice but to get the car. I am a
single parent and I needed a reliable transportation to get to work
everyday. I was told that in a year or so, once I had established
credit, that I would be able to either trade in my car for a new on
with a lower intrest rate or re-finance my car to get a lower
interest rate. Well, I did try to trade in my car and they were
saying that it was not worth it and that I had too many miles put
into my car and that it was not worth much anymore , so they told
me to wait another year, which I did and same thing happened. The
reason why I had gone to Ford to purchase my first car was because
my whole family has all purshased cars at the Vacaville Ford, My
parents purshased 4 cars there. I am so dissapointed with Ford. My
Transmition went out about two weeks ago. I have no other type of
transportation. I looked around and called many places to get the
best affortable deal to fix my car. It's costing $15 hundred to get
my car fixed. It has beed ready for a week now, but I have not been
able to pick up my car because I am $700 short. So untill I am able
to pay the rest,I am stuck without a car. Per Vacaville Ford my car
is no longer covered under warrenty. I tried to see if there ws
anything else they could do for me but he said that there was
nothing he could do. I asked if I could rent a car from them, they
said since I was not getting my car serviced there that I was
unable to rent a car from ther. The people I spoke to where no
help. I called them several times to get an estimate and was told
that I would get a call back and I never got a call from anyone.
The costumer service is not an A+. A couple of times when I went
into vacaville Ford two of the men that work there always tried to
pick up on me and always ask me out, they made me very
uncomfortable, especially when they called me at home, when I did
not ecen give them my phone number. Well this is my problem with
Vacacille Ford and since having this bad experiences with them, I
know that I will never again purchase a veicle at the vacaville
Ford, also I will not recommed to anyone to purchase a ford veichle
eiter, cause they are not realiable cars.
