Complaint Review: vah entanesian

Dr Vahe Antanesian  has a very bad bedside manner. He's very uncommunicative (bordering on arrogance) and doesn't answer questions fully. He is quite rough when he's examining the mouth/teeth. I needed the services of dentist on an emergency basis after having terrible pain in one of my molars. After calling around, Dr. Antanesian was the only dentist that could see me the same day. In retrospect, that should have been a warning sign, for there's a reason he's not very busy! After examination and an x-ray, I was referred to an endodontist for a repeat root canal, since the tooth had an infection. This was fine...however, I have serious issues with the following aspects of my care: - No Antibiotics were prescribed for the infected tooth. This was important because the endodontist couldnt see me for a few days. - No painkillers were prescribed nor any instructions dispensed about using over the counter pain medication. - Most egregiously  Dr Vahe Antanesian adjusted the bite of the infected tooth to control the pain. Obviously, this didn't do a thing, since the root cause of the problem, the infection, wasn't being dealt with. However, Beware!
