Valerie Evans Scammed Me Out of Money Under False Pretense of Line of Credit Program Los Angeles California
Please stay away from any and all ads posted on Craigslist with titles similar to "$400 Cosigned business loans/ 50k limit/ guarantee approval 7 days " This woman is a scam artist. You may also see other ads titled "40k line of credit/no doc/ no fico &400 deposit" and "45 k corporate credit, set up .no doc, no fico."Flag any ads that you may come across that are the same or look similar to the above titled Craigslist advertisements as this. You will find these ads in the states of California, Arizona, and Texas in multiple cities; and more recently, in Atlanta, Georgia as well. This cons name is "Valerie Evans." She may use a different name but she has a young sounding speaking voice and her tone is light, soft, and pleasant. She claims to be a broker who works with a legitimate business entity that grants loans in the form of a line of credit (credit card) or leasing equipment, which will be converted to cash. This so called business entity has 3 locations in Miami, Florida, in California, and in San Antonio, Texas. Mighty coincidental that TWO of those states were recently affected by major hurricanes and she will blame any delays in funding on the after effects of those hurricanes. Her latest reasoning for lack communication or receipt of services is the 2017 California wildfires. Valerie claims that she's volunteering with the clean up efforts from the damage caused by the wildfires. Beware, because she is seemingly very knowledgeable about the business and will reassure you that everything is going smoothly. She will tell you that she's a mother and is 40 years old. She may even tell you stories about an ill brother, ex father in law or that her father just underwent routine surgery. They are mere lies to establish trust with you as well as lower your guard, so that she can continue to string you along. I've been in contact with a few of her other victims - trust me, this woman sticks to the same old tired dog and pony show, she will rarely divert away from those stories.
The forms of payment accepted are Google Wallet and Moneypak. She will personally guarantee you a refund if everything doesn't pan out and when she is trying to get your money, she makes sure to keep in touch, often texting numerous times a day. Once the money is sent, you will have to reach out to her on a daily basis. She has strung me along for going on three months, since August 3rd, the day I initiated payment for this AU program. She may turn on the "auto text reply" feature when she realizes that she can no longer lead you on or when she's ran out of lies. Keep in mind that she won't disappear like the typical scammer but will continue to make excuses daily and then once you become impatient after a month of waiting, she catches an attitude and flips everything around on you, saying that she will tell the "company" to "cancel" your application, but you will have to submit in writing an email requesting refund. Be mindful that this crook named Valerie Evans may use other California area codes or names and/or advertising plaforms similar to Craigslist to place more advertisemens to defraud people of their hard earned money. She may even blame identical ads on other brokers and she will flat out say that she isn't currently advertising on Craigslist, but beware, because she is! Craigslist is Valerie Evan's playground and she is actively pursuing other victims.
