I purchased a RV in 2005 and was talked into purchasing an extended warranty for about $1500 as well. The battery charger/power inverter stopped working after about 4 years. The warranty work is done by a relative of theirs and he came out once to look at a few things that were giving me problems. There were still issues after he came out and he would tell me he would call to set up a time to come back and fix it. He was to put a new control board in the air conditioner and a new power inverter/charger. I also had complained of water leaking in and ruining the floorin a few places. The warranty was to be good for 7 years with them coming on my sight to fix it. I called every so often and left messages, but he never returned my calls. I got a live person to call me back once, (not him), that said they would have him call me back, but he never did. I also called the service department at the store and they told me I could bring it in, but they did not know if they could do anything for me. I told them that is not what I paid for and they needed to have the guy come out to look at it. Now the warranty is expired. I am stuck hooking up a charger to my battery to keep it charged and in need of trying to repair around $2000 worth of water damage.
